Cornwall Butterfly Atlas
Cornwall Butterfly Conservation is working to establish the present status of butterflies in Cornwall so we can tell which species are increasing or in decline.
Working, with the Environmental records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall Butterfly Conservation produces an annual butterfly report and has now published an Atlas for the county.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the formation of our branch in 2003, ‘A Cornwall Butterfly Atlas’ was published by Pisces Publications. It is a comprehensive guide, in full colour, to every one of Cornwall’s resident and migratory species and will inform the reader where they may be found within our county. The book is the co-operative work of three committed butterfly expert-enthusiasts, all members of the Cornwall Branch of Butterfly Conservation. It is essential reading for anyone sharing their interest in the fate of Britain's butterflies.
